ABOUT ARTEMIS
Martin McCallum
Martin is the principle of Artemis Outdoors. He has been going to the hills since a small boy when he used to explore the nearby Campsie Fells with his Dad.
He graduated to larger mountains and has climbed around the UK, the Alps (summer and winter) Tatras (summer and winter) North America (Alaska, British Columbia, Rockies, Yosemite, Joshua Tree) and the Tien Shan.
He has worked in Antarctica as a Field Guide and also has extensive experience mountain biking in the UK, Europe and North America.
Martin is a qualified EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) Mountain Leader and is currently Deputy Leader of Lomond MRT; as well as former National Training Officer of Scottish Mountain Rescue.
